The Dua to protect oneself from the deceit and tricks of rebellious devils

A‘ūdhu bi kalimātillāhi at-tāmmāti allatī lā yujāwizuhunna barrun wa lā fājir: min sharri mā khalaq, wa dhara’a wa bara’a, wa min sharri mā yanzilu min as-samā’, wa min sharri mā ya‘ruju fīhā, wa min sharri mā dhara’a fil-arḍ, wa min sharri mā yakhruju minhā, wa min sharri fitani al-layli wan-nahār, wa min sharri kulli ṭāriqin illā ṭāriqan yaṭruqu bi khayrin yā Raḥmān.

Translation

"I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, which no righteous or wicked can surpass, from the evil of what He has created, brought forth, and given existence to; from the evil of what descends from the sky; from the evil of what ascends into it; from the evil of what He has spread on the earth; from the evil of what emerges from it; from the evil of the trials of night and day; and from the evil of every intruder, except the one who comes with good, O Most Merciful." .
