Prayers after the final Tashahhud and before Salam

"Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika min ‘adhābil-qabr, wa a‘ūdhu bika min fitnatil-masīḥid-dajjāl, wa a‘ūdhu bika min fitnatil-maḥyā wa-l-mamāt. Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika minal-ma’tham wa-l-maghram."

Translation

"O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, from the trial of the false Messiah (Dajjal), and from the trials of life and death. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from sin and debt." .

"Allāhumma ighfir lī mā qaddamtū, wamā akkhartū, wamā asrartū, wamā a‘lantū, wamā asrafṭū, wamā anta a‘lamu bihī minnī. Anta al-Muqaddim, wa anta al-Mu’akhkhir, lā ilāha illā anta."

Translation

"O Allah! Forgive me for what I have done before and what I will do after, for what I have done in secret and for what I have done openly, for the wrong I have committed, and for what You know better than me. You are the One who moves things forward and backward, and there is no deity besides You." .

"Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika min al-bukhli, wa a‘ūdhu bika min al-jubni, wa a‘ūdhu bika min an uradda ilā arẓalil-‘umūr, wa a‘ūdhu bika min fitnatid-dunyā wa ‘adhābil-qabr."

Translation

"O Allah! Indeed, I seek refuge in You from miserliness, from cowardice, and from being returned to the worst part of old age. I seek refuge in You from the trials of this world and the punishment of the grave." .

"Allāhumma bi-‘ilmika al-ghayb wa qudratika ‘alā al-ḵalq, aḥyīnī mā ‘alimta al-ḥayāh khayran lī, wa tawaffanī idhā ‘alimta al-wafāt khayran lī. Allāhumma innī as’aluka khashyataka fī al-ghaybi wa ash-shahādah, wa as’aluka kalimatal-ḥaqq fī ar-riḍā wa al-ghaḍab, wa as’aluka al-qaṣda fī al-ghinā’i wa al-faqr, wa as’aluka na‘īman lā yanfaḍ, wa as’aluka qurrata ‘ayn lā tanqaṭi‘, wa as’aluka ar-riḍā ba‘da al-qaḍā’, wa as’aluka burda al-‘aysh ba‘da al-mawt, wa as’aluka ladhdhata an-naẓari ilā wajhika, wa ash-shawqa ilā liqā’ika fī ghayri ḍarrā’in muḍirrāh, wa lā fitnatin muḍillāh. Allāhumma zayyinnā bizīnatil-īmān, wa ajilnā hudātam muhtadīn."

Translation

"O Allah! Due to Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over creation, keep me alive as long as You know that life is better for me, and cause me to die when You know that death is better for me. O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for Your fear both in secret and in public, and I ask You for the ability to speak the truth in both times of pleasure and anger. I ask You for moderation in wealth and poverty, and I ask You for a blessing that never ends. I ask You for the coolness of my eyes that never fades, and I ask You for contentment with Your decrees. I ask You for the comfort of life after death, and I ask You for the joy of gazing upon Your Face, and for the longing to meet You, without any harmful trials or misleading temptations. O Allah! Adorn us with the beauty of faith, and make us among the rightly guided leaders." .

"Allāhumma innī as'aluka bi'anna laka al-Ḥamdu lā ilāha illā anta waḥdaka lā sharīka laka, al-Mannan, yā Badi‘a as-Samawāti wal-Arḍi, yā Dhāl-Jalāli wal-Ikram, yā Ḥayyū yā Qayyūm, innī as'aluka al-Jannah wa a‘ūdhu bika min an-Nār."

Translation

"O Allah! Indeed, I ask You because all praise is due to You alone. There is no deity besides You, and You have no partners. You are the Most Benevolent. O Creator of the heavens and the earth, O Possessor of Glory and Honor! O Ever-Living, O Sustainer! O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for Paradise and seek refuge in You from the Fire." .
