Translation
Say: Allah is One. Allah is Self-Sufficient. He neither begets nor is born, And there is none equal to Him. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak, From the evil of what He has created, And from the evil of the dark night when it settles, And from the evil of those who blow upon knots (practicing witchcraft), And from the evil of an envier when they envy. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The King of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the whisperer who withdraws, Who whispers in the hearts of mankind, Whether from among jinn or mankind. .
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ: قُلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ لَمۡ يَلِدۡ وَلَمۡ يُولَدۡ وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدُۢ بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ: قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡفَلَقِ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِي ٱلۡعُقَدِ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ: قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ ٱلَّذِي يُوَسۡوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِبِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ ٱلَّذِي يُوَسۡوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ
Asbahna wa asbaha al-mulku lillah, walhamdu lillah, la ilaha illa Allahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer. Rabbi, as’aluka khayra ma fi hadha al-yawm wa khayra ma ba’dahu, wa a’oodhu bika min sharri ma fi hadha al-yawm wa sharri ma ba’dahu. Rabbi, a’oodhu bika minal-kasali wa soo’il-kibar. Rabbi, a’oodhu bika min ‘adhabin fin-nar wa ‘adhabin fil-qabr.
Translation
We, along with all the dominion that belongs to Allah, have entered the morning, and all praise is for Allah. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone; He has no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom, and to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over all things. O my Lord! I ask You for the goodness of this day and the goodness of the days that follow it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of the days that follow it. O my Lord! I seek refuge in You from laziness and the harm of old age. O my Lord! I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave. .
أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إلَاّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَخَيرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ۔
Allahumma bika asbahna, wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namootu wa ilayka an-nushoor.
Translation
O Allah! By Your protection, we have entered the morning, and by Your protection, we enter the evening. By Your name, we live, and by Your name, we die. And to You, we shall return. .
اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ۔
Allahumma anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa’dika ma istata’tu. A’oodhu bika min sharri ma sana’tu. Aboo’u laka bini’matika ‘alayya, wa aboo’u bi dhanbi, faghfir li fa’innahu la yaghfiru adh-dhunuba illa anta.
Translation
O Allah! You are my Lord; there is no deity worthy of worship except You. You created me, and I am Your servant. I remain steadfast to Your covenant and promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge before You Your blessings upon me, and I confess my sins. So forgive me, for surely none can forgive sins except You. .
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَاّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنوبَ إِلَاّ أَنْتَ۔
Allahumma ‘afini fi badani, Allahumma ‘afini fi sam’i, Allahumma ‘afini fi basari, la ilaha illa anta. Allahumma inni a’oodhu bika minal-kufri wal-faqri, wa a’oodhu bika min ‘adhabil-qabr, la ilaha illa anta.
Translation
O Allah! Grant me well-being in my body, grant me well-being in my hearing, and grant me well-being in my sight. There is no deity worthy of worship except You. O Allah! Indeed, I seek refuge in You from disbelief, poverty, and the punishment of the grave. There is no deity worthy of worship except You. .
اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَاّ أَنْتَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ، وَالفَقْرِ،وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَاّ أَنْتَ۔
Allahumma inni as’aluka al-‘afwa wal-‘afiyata fid-dunya wal-akhirah. Allahumma inni as’aluka al-‘afwa wal-‘afiyata fi deeni wa dunyaya wa ahli wa maali. Allahumma stur ‘awraati wa aamin raw’ati. Allahumma hafizhni min bayni yadayya, wa min khalfiyya, wa ‘an yameeni, wa ‘an shimali, wa min fawqi, wa a’oodhu bi ‘azamatika an ughtaalu min tahti.
Translation
O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for well-being and safety in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religion, my worldly life, and in my family and wealth. O Allah! Cover my faults and grant me peace in my moments of anxiety. O Allah! Protect me from in front of me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your greatness from being taken by surprise and destroyed from below me. .
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ: فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي، وَمَالِي، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَينِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي، وَعَنْ شِمَالِي، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي۔
Allahumma fatiras-samawati wal-ardi, ‘aalimal-ghaybi wash-shahadah, la ilaha illa anta, rabbakulli shay’in wa maliki-hu. A’oodhu bika min sharri nafsi wa min sharri ash-shaytani wa shirkihi, wa an aqtarifa ‘ala nafsi su’an, aw ajurrahu ila Muslim.
Translation
O Allah! O Creator of the heavens and the earth! O Knower of the unseen and the seen, there is no deity but You, the Lord and Master of everything. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own soul, the evil of Satan and his polytheism, and from the harm of committing any wrong against myself or drawing it towards any Muslim. .
اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِي سُوءًا، أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ۔
Bismillāhi alladhī lā yaḍurru maʿa ismihi shay’un fī al-arḍi wa-lā fī as-samā’, wa huwa as-Samīʿu al-ʿAlīm.
Translation
**"In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the earth or the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing."** .
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ۔
Raḍītu billāhi Rabb-an, wa bil-islāmi dīn-an, wa bi-Muḥammadin ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam Nabiyy-an.
Translation
"I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion, and Muhammad (peace be upon him) as my Prophet." .
رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبَّاً، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيناً، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَبِيّاً۔
"Yā Ḥayyū Yā Qayyūm, bi-raḥmatika astaghīth, aṣliḥ lī sha'ni kullahu, wa lā takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata ‘aynin."
Translation
"O Ever-Living, O Sustainer! I seek help through Your mercy. Set my affairs right and do not leave me to my own self, even for the blink of an eye." .
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغيثُ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِيَ كُلَّهُ وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ۔
