The prayer for entering a city or town

Allahumma Rabbas-samawātis-sab‘i wa mā azlalna, wa Rabbal-ardīnas-sab‘i wa mā aqlalna, wa Rabbash-shayātīni wa mā adlalna, wa Rabbarrīāhi wa mā dharayna, fa-innā nas’aluka khayra hādhihil-qaryati wa khayra ahlihā, wa na‘ūdhu bika min sharrihā wa sharri ahlihā wa sharri mā fīhā.

Translation

O Allah! Lord of the seven heavens and all that they overshadow! Lord of the seven earths and all that they uphold! Lord of the devils and those whom they have led astray! And Lord of the winds and all that they scatter! We ask You for the goodness of this town, its inhabitants, and all that is within it. And we seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of its inhabitants, and the evil that is within it. .
